EuroGEO brings together and coordinates activities in Europe that contribute to the initiatives of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO). 

The Pau Costa Foundation (PCF) is hosting the Spanish demonstration of the SAFERS European project in El Perelló, Catalonia, from October 9 to 11, 2023.

The Biohydrology7 meeting will be held in Gandia (Spain) in October 2023 (18th-22nd). The aim of the BioHydrology conferences is to provide a forum to share knowledge and networking about any topic related to the interactions between biotic systems and hydrology. Biohydrology aims to gather scientists and practitioners dealing with issues in the field of hydrology, biohydrology, biology, ecohydrology, ecology, geography and engineering in natural, agricultural, forestry and anthropogenic areas. The theme of the Biohydrology7 will be “Biota, water and humans. Management for a sustainable world”. We are planning two conference days (posters and talks), one day of mid-conference field visit and two days for a post-conference tour.

The 3rd Fire in the Earth System Congress (fEs2024) will be held from June 3rd to 5th, 2024, in Cáceres, with a field trip to Sierra de Gata on June 6th. Following successful conferences in Valencia and Granada, fEs2024 is organized in collaboration with the University of Extremadura. Future editions in South Africa, the USA, Turkey, and Australia are being planned.

The Congress Scientific Committee (CSC) has announced the Call for Abstracts for the XXVI IUFRO Congress in Stockholm, Sweden, 23 – 29 June 2024, which is open and welcomes submissions of abstracts for presentations in sub-plenary, technical and poster sessions.
