EU Green Week 2021

Thursday, 10 June 2021

The Green Week of the European Union 2021 is celebrated this year from May 31 to June 4, 2021, with associated events, scheduled throughout the European territory between May 3 and June 13.

The event covers topics such as air, water, land and food. Thus, other relevant initiatives for the European Green Deal will be discussed, such as climate initiatives, the future Strategy on Chemical Substances, and initiatives dedicated to energy, industry, mobility, agriculture, fisheries, health and biodiversity.

The Fundación Empresa Universidad Gallega (FEUGA) organizes, on June 9 and 10, an online conference framed in the European Green Week under the title “Zero pollution society: citizens & industry to climb on a circular strategy”. Different projects in which FEUGA participates, both national and European, will present their contribution to the objective set by the European Commission of achieving zero pollution. The event will have simultaneous translation from Spanish to English and vice versa, making possible to follow it by a larger audience.

At this event, David Martín, Project Manager at the Pau Costa Foundation, will present SAFERS project and the importance of society involvement in risk management.
