IX International Conference on Forest Fire Research & 17th International Wildland Fire Safety Summit

This conference aims to promote international cooperation on the developments in forest fire science and technology between different institutions. Taking place in Coimbra, Portugal from November 11^th to 18^th 2022, it will reflect on six major themes related to fire management in a research perspective: Fire at the Wildland Urban Interface, Fire Risk Management, Decision Support Systems and Tools, Fire Management, Fuel Management and Socio-Economic Issues. There will be a presentation of two courses, the VI Short Course on Fire Safety and the IX Short Course on Forest Fire Behaviour before the Conference, as related but separate events.
