CORDIS, the European Commission's primary service for EU-funded research results, has published an article about the SAFERS project in its latest Results Pack on "Environmental Observations solutions for the EU Green Deal." This publication highlights SAFERS's contributions towards enhancing environmental resilience in the face of climate challenges.
The article was developed through collaborative efforts between SAFERS representatives and Allison Balogh, a writer for CORDIS's editorial contractors Tipik/Intrasoft. Based on thorough desk research, direct contact, and project-provided images, the article has been translated into six languages to maximize accessibility. The "Results in Brief" article details our pioneering forest fire decision support system and is now available on the CORDIS website. The full Results Pack can be accessed through the following links: https://cordis.europa.eu/article/id/451849-a-pioneering-forest-fire-decision-support-system-enhances-resilience-in-the-face-of-clima?WT.mc_id=exp.
We extend our gratitude to Brita Hemme and the CORDIS Editorial Team for their support and recognition, which underscores the significance of the SAFERS project in advancing environmental observation technologies within the EU Green Deal framework.
